The ceremony will take place at St Mary’s Church in Enniskerry, just a few minutes from our reception at Powerscourt Hotel.
Getting Here
By Air: Dublin Airport is about a 45-minute drive from Enniskerry. You can rent a car or take a taxi/private transfer directly to the area.
Public Transport: From the airport, take a bus into Dublin city centre, then connect by bus to Enniskerry or Bray, depending on where you’re staying. Total travel time is roughly 1.5–2.5 hours.
By Ferry: Ferries run from Holyhead (Wales) to Dublin Port with operators such as Irish Ferries and Stena Line. The crossing takes about 2–3 hours. From the port, it’s roughly a 1-hour drive or taxi ride to Enniskerry, or you can continue via bus or train from Dublin city centre.
Accommodation
There are lots of great places to stay nearby. The village of Enniskerry is right where Powerscourt is, so it’s a really handy option. You can also stay in the surrounding towns – for example, Bray is a lively coastal spot just 15 minutes away. If you’re not driving, taxis are easy to get. We’ll also have buses arranged after the wedding reception going back to both Enniskerry and Bray, so you’ll be covered for the journey home. Some accommodation options are listed below to help you get started – we’d recommend booking early as places can fill up quickly.
